1. Who We Are
Boardin (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates boardin.net, an AI-powered tool that helps CX professionals generate CFO-ready business cases. Our contact address is contact@boardin.net.
2. Data We Collect
- Account data: Email address when you register or sign in with Google.
- Survey responses: Your answers to the onboarding quiz (industry, company size, pain points, ballpark figures). This data is used solely to generate your deliverable.
- Usage data: Pages visited, clicks, and session metadata collected via PostHog for product analytics. IP addresses are anonymised.
- Payment data: Handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy. We never see or store your card details.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Authenticate your account via Google OAuth or magic-link email.
- Generate your AI business case deliverable using Google Gemini.
- Send the deliverable to your email address via Resend.
- Track credit balance and billing events via Lemon Squeezy.
- Improve the product through aggregated, anonymised analytics.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following sub-processors to operate the service:

5. Data Retention
We retain your account and deliverable data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing contact@boardin.net. We will delete your data within 30 days of receiving the request, except where retention is required by law.
6. Cookies
We use a session cookie for authentication and PostHog cookies for analytics. No advertising or tracking cookies are used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though authentication will no longer function.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@boardin.net. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the site. Continued use of Boardin after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
